FOUNDER & CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Azim is the heart and soul of our operation, boasting a vibrant 15-year journey through the dynamic realms of live broadcast and post-production. As a seasoned director in live TV, Azim has left his creative mark with major broadcasters, working on high profile events including the Paris Olympics 2024. Beyond that with his venture into videography and livestream he has worked with clients such as the Silver Spoon Company, SEGA and Google.
Colleagues often quip that Azim can strike a friendship with anyone, anywhere - a testament to his personable nature. With Azim, it’s all about people — fuelling the heart of the company with infectious enthusiasm and perhaps, quite frequently, a round of tea and biscuits.
At the core, Azim is more than our Founder; he weaves a community, binding the threads of skill, dedication, and a shared love for storytelling into the fabric of Willow Red Media.

Andy Smith
THE TECH MANAGER
Andy is our Super Tech Manager, the heartbeat of our technical prowess. From the moment he stepped into the industry, a young Andy’s path intertwined with Azim’s, leading to a lasting friendship and professional partnership.
With over a decade of experience, Andy’s expertise covers a broad spectrum, from installing lighting rigs and crafting studio spaces to building galleries, he's able to develop setups for all thrown his way. You name the kit, Andy can install and wield it with the finesse of a Samurai with a katana.
Echoing Azim’s composure and enthusiasm, Andy’s approachable demeanour makes him a crew and clients dream to work with. Who wouldn’t want to work with the legend who proudly managed to eat so many all you can eat chicken wings that he was told by the restaurant that he’d had enough.

Chris Leworthy
LEAD CAMERA OPERATOR AND TECHNICIAN
Chris is our Lead Camera Operator who has incredible work ethic and is loved by everyone he works with. Chris and Azim worked together many years ago and have remained friends and work colleagues ever since, most notably interviewing footballer Harry Kane together whilst working for Tottenham Hotspur FC.
Chris has 15 years of experience in camera operating, and has worked with a variety of huge companies including IMG, Sky Sports and TNT Sports. You could say that at this point he is part camera, part man.
Chris is incredibly calm under pressure and always reliable, being a pillar of support for the team - he will do whatever he can to get the best results and keep clients and crew happy. He is also often compared to celebrity Danny Dyer because of how similar they sound and their clear resemblance.
Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Our aim is to produce high-quality content through both photography and film while simultaneously bringing a positive and fun ethos to all our work.
