Event Filming Services
Event Filming and Event Videography
Willow Red Media films conferences, awards, sport and corporate events across Hertfordshire, London and the UK - single or multi-camera, filmed and edited by the same team. Based in Watford, Hertfordshire.
One filming day gives you a highlights film, speaker sessions, interviews and social cutdowns: everything you need to keep using the event long after it's finished. Our crew work at broadcast level, on productions including the Paris 2024 Olympics and the 2025 Ashes. That discipline shows in what comes back to you.
Need your event broadcast live as it happens? See our live streaming services.
What we deliver
Every event is different. We work with you in advance to understand the space, the brief and how the footage will be used - so on the day, everything runs smoothly.
Our event filming setups typically include:
- Multi-camera direction and recording
- Professional audio capture for speech, panels and performance
- Lighting adaptation for challenging venues and spaces
- Separate audio deliverables for podcast and social use
- Same-day or fast-turnaround edits where required
Case study:
The Good Morning Club, Courthouse Hotel London
We were commissioned to film the launch event for founder of The Good Morning Club, Jen Foster's new book. Held in the cinema room at the Courthouse Hotel in London.
The intimate venue presented real technical challenges. The existing projector threw light directly onto the presenters, requiring careful lighting compensation to ensure clean, usable footage. Working within a limited setup space, we ran a three-camera shoot with full audio capture for both the event film and the room.
The footage was subsequently cut into episodic content for the Behaviour Besties podcast, which we also produce, giving the client multiple deliverables from a single shoot day.
Guide Pricing
A single-camera filming day with a highlights edit starts from around £650. Multi-camera coverage with speaker sessions, interviews and social cutdowns typically runs from £2,000 to £4,000.
What moves the price: how many cameras, how many hours on site, how many separate deliverables you need, and how fast you need them back.
Same-day and next-morning turnarounds are possible worth telling us early, as it changes how we crew the day.
FAQs
What's the difference between event filming and live streaming?
1
Event filming is recording your event, it never goes out live anywhere, where as live streams are broadcast via an internet stream for people to watch live. Not every event needs to be streamed –often clients just want a highlights reel to promote next year's, or a multi-camera recording to publish later.
How many separate videos do we get from one day?
2
Typically 2 or 3 as a starting point: a highlights video plus a couple of social versions. With multi-camera coverage we'd usually deliver 5 or more — the full recording, a highlights reel and 3–5 social cuts.
Do you need to visit the venue beforehand?
3
Yes — we call it a recce. It lets us see the space and work out logistics in advance, so we arrive already knowing where the cameras go, where the power is and which sightlines to keep clear. If a visit isn't possible, that's fine too — we'll work it out from a floor plan and photos.
What if the scope changes?
4
We'll quote a firm price for the work as scoped. If the brief grows, we'll tell you what it costs before we do it, never after.
What happens if a speaker overruns or the schedule changes?
5
No problem. We come from live television, where the schedule changing is normal — we adapt on the day. We work to a 10-hour day, which covers most events; anything beyond that is agreed and factored in.
Do you handle consent for filming attendees?
6
We ask that consent is handled by the client, letting attendees know that filming will be taking place at the event. If someone doesn’t want to be filmed, let us know on the day and we’ll be sure to avoid them and ensure that footage of them isn’t used later on.
“Always such a joy to work with Azim and the team. They always go above and beyond. Taking the time to understand the vision, talk through the concept and deliver exceptional, high-quality results.”
