Case study:
Derbyshire County Cricket Club
Willow Red Media approached Derbyshire CCC as part of a wider initiative to raise the standard of live streaming across county cricket — working directly with clubs to bring consistency and broadcast quality to their productions.
Chris and I visited the club, assessed their existing setup — built from scratch by a dedicated student team — and identified several areas where workflow improvements would make an immediate difference. We introduced them to StreamDeck, which transformed how they managed their production, tested a wireless camera system using our receivers, and walked their new director through vMix.
We also delivered a broadcast training session with the student team — covering the fundamentals of live production and how to get the best from their existing setup.
The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, particularly around the StreamDeck integration. Derbyshire have since indicated they'll be coming back to Willow Red when the time comes to build out their gallery further — and we've been introduced to contacts at other counties as a result.
