Multi-Camera Live Streaming for Events and Sport

Willow Red Media delivers professional live streaming for sport, events and corporate clients - from single-camera webinars to full outside broadcast productions. Based in Watford, Hertfordshire, we work with clients across the UK and internationally.

Our broadcast credits include the Paris 2024 Olympics, the 2025 Ashes, Sky Sports, TNT Sports, the BBC and Warner Bros. Discovery. We've worked on shows that broadcast to audiences of tens of thousands and we bring that same broadcast discipline to every live event we take on.

Just need your event filmed and edited afterwards, with no live broadcast? See our event filming services.

What we deliver

Whether you need a simple stream to YouTube or a full multi-camera OB with commentary, graphics and a big screen feed, we have the kit and the crew to make it happen.

Hybrid & Remote Events

Not every audience is in the room. We design and deliver hybrid event productions that serve both your in-person and online audiences simultaneously - with the same broadcast quality across both.

Whether it's a conference with a remote audience, a panel with contributors joining from multiple locations, or a fully distributed live event, we have the technical setup and experience to make it work seamlessly.

Our live streaming setups typically include:

- Multi-camera direction using vMix

- Live sound mixing and commentary mic setup for multiple people

- Real-time graphics integration

- Simultaneous streaming to different platforms and on-site screen feeds

- Drone and wireless camera integration

- Broadcast director, vision mixer and sound operator on site

Case study:
Henley Women's Regatta 2024

We were commissioned to deliver the full live broadcast production for the Henley Women's Regatta 2024 — three days of racing, streamed live to YouTube.

The setup included five cameras across a long stretch of river, a live drone feed, full commentary facilities, a mixing desk, and bespoke graphics integration provided by the event. We simultaneously fed the stream to a large on-site screen for spectators.

By day three the stream had reached 26,000 views.

Mid-event, a camera went offline due to a fault with a wireless transmitter. We diagnosed the issue, swapped out the hardware and had the camera back in the mix with minimal disruption to the broadcast — the kind of problem-solving that only comes from experience in live production.

Guide Pricing

A single-camera stream with a producer typically starts from £1200. Multi-camera productions with a full crew, graphics and redundancy usually run from £2500, and larger sports or multi-day events are quoted individually.

What moves the price: camera count, crew size, whether you need graphics or replay, connectivity at the venue, how many platforms you're streaming to, and whether recordings and edits are needed afterwards.

FAQs

What happens if the venue's internet fails?

1

For events where the stream absolutely cannot drop, we can add bonded connectivity. This combines the venue's internet with multiple mobile networks into a single connection, so if one route degrades or fails, the others carry the stream without interruption — there's no switchover gap for viewers to notice.

It's an optional extra and depends on mobile coverage at the venue, so it's something we'd check on a site visit beforehand. For most events, a wired connection to the venue's network plus a standby mobile connection is enough.

Do you work alongside our existing AV supplier?

2

We are all about collaborating and believe it’s the best way to achieve the best results. We will always work with existing AV suppliers and onsite AV teams to ensure that everyone has a great show.

Can you stream to multiple platforms at once?

3

As standard we can stream up to 3 platforms at once, and have the capacity to expand to more should there be a requirement for that.

Do we get a recording afterwards, and in what format?

4

We will deliver a recording of the event in H264. We are able to offer ISO recordings from individual cameras and an option of having everything recorded and delivered in 4k should the need arise.

Do you handle private or password-protected streams?

5

Yes we can setup private streams and password protection, just let us know and we’ll take care of it.

What do you need from the venue on the day?

6

We need access to an open ethernet port so that we get unrestricted access to the internet, as well as early access for setup and testing.

“Willow Red Media delivered a great live streaming event for us. The team’s professionalism and attention to detail made all the difference. We received great feedback and look forward to working with them again.”
